Testimonials
John Martino, President, Mexican Manufacturers Inc
Elizabeth is a high energy, creative and very professional career counselor. She takes the time to know you and understand who you are so she can better prepare you for your next opportunity. She is honest about your prospects, while at the same time encouraging. I value the counseling enough to travel two hours to participate in her services. I would recommend her for any career counseling.

Why should employers invest in Outplacement services? Because they’re effective and beneficial for all parties. Candidates for outplacement are usually losing jobs other than “for cause,” often because of reductions in force or because things “just aren’t working out.” In either case the employer bears some or most of the responsibility. Outplacement has a very positive impact on employees and almost entirely eliminates the risk of costly, time consuming third-party employment disputes. When winning a summary judgment in court has legal costs in the mid five-figure range, you lose even when you win. Outplacement usually takes the risk of employment disputes out of the equation as the person is moving ahead, focused on the future - not the past, and applying time and energy to the job of executing a successful job search.
Why should employees accept Outplacement services? Because they’re effective and beneficial for job seekers all along the “mindset” continuum. Those at one end – the cocksure, over- confident crowd – find out that job search is not as easy as they think. They get a very rude awakening when they finally get around to serious job seeking. They’re not as much in demand as they think they are and there are plenty of other good or superior candidates out there. Finding good opportunities and competing successfully is hard work and, left to their own, these people can go from over-confidence to complete demoralization quickly.
Through Outplacement those at the other end find that job search is nowhere near as impossible as they think it is. Those devastated by their job loss, paralyzed by uncertainty and worries, find that they do have very marketable job skills, that they are actually more in demand than they realize, that they can locate and compete successfully for jobs, and that the future is really quite promising.
Finally, why use Elizabeth Muellner as your Outplacement consultant? Let’s begin with the tangibles. Elizabeth has all the know-how, contacts, experience, and professional expertise required to do “best practice” work for you. But her intangibles put her in the “best in class” category of providers.
Some believe that certain people have vocational callings; that their particular skills, abilities, and attitudes show that they were “meant” to do the work they do. Others don’t believe in that sort of thing but recognize pinnacle level performance when they see it. Either way, Elizabeth fills the bill. Her indomitable sprit; her seemingly boundless energy; her ability to apply just the right encouragement or, when called for, rebuke; and her complete confidence and belief in her client’s ability to succeed make her exceptional. No one who begins work with Elizabeth is ever quite the same at the end. They’re always better for having known her and worked with her. And they’re in, or well on their way to, better employment situations than those they enjoyed before the process began.
Kim Wasoski Private Practice-Therapist at Reflections CounselingElizabeth is an outstanding professional. Her personable approach to her clients and her optimistic attitude made my job search experience that much easier. She is an expert in her field and a great teacher, coach, educator, and mentor. Elizabeth's support during trying times was invaluable. Her ability to motivate and encourage is amazing. She is a woman of her word and creates a safe environment for her clients. I truly appreciate all the support and information/skills that Elizabeth shared with me.
